A Mixed Bag: My Experience with TablePlus 5.4.2 for iOS

As a SQL enthusiast, I was excited to try out TablePlus 5.4.2 on my iOS device. The app's sleek interface and promise of a seamless user experience had me hopeful that I had finally found the perfect tool for managing my databases. However, my enthusiasm was short-lived, as I soon encountered several issues that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

During times when I somehow do have the option to kill a query, it will take many minutes to 'load' the query before you have the option of killing it. This is particularly infuriating when my CPU is running fine and has more than enough memory available, and other applications have no problems at all - regardless of database.

Another issue I encountered was with non-local databases. When interacting with these types of databases, all windows would randomly close. This made it impossible for me to continue working on my queries without restarting the app multiple times.

Despite these limitations, there are some aspects of TablePlus 5.4.2 that I do appreciate. The query history feature is incredibly helpful, and the app's aesthetic appeal is undeniable. The interface is visually stunning, making it a pleasure to use.
